Do Your Recycle Your MLM Leads?
from: Rich NiccollsAs a leads company owner, I earn a living when networkers buy
our lead packages. However, I want to give you some advice in
not buying another new batch of leads. I want to give you a few
reasons to recycle your network marketing leads.
What is recycling? It is basically pulling out some of your
older leads and recycling them into use again. I receive
numerous calls and emails from our customers, as well as other
colleagues in this industry, that say they are converting on a
regular basis from leads that are 30 days old.
Let me give you three reasons why you should re-use your MLM
leads.
- If you bought a batch of 100 real time leads, you
probably invested about $150 - $200, Of those people who
actually call through their leads, ninety percent will only call
them one time. On top of that, you may have been frustrated by
the fact that you were never able to reach some of these
prospects on the phone.
Many people say that the people they weren't able to reach,
after 30 days, they are now able to reach them. You're throwing
money away if you're only using your leads one time. - Have you ever had a prospect complain that they had received
several phone calls, and they don't want to talk to you.
Those same people are now open because the phone calls have
stopped, no one is calling them, and now they are open to
talk. - Many networkers do not follow up... leaving the prospect
hanging. They are still looking, and when you contact them they
are very open because of your persistence and willingness to
still work with them.
It's been said that the fortune is in the follow up. Maybe
that's why so few are actually earning fortunes.
I still believe you need to work new leads - but don't neglect
the leads you have bought in the recent past. In my opinion, the
leads you purchase are not a "one-time-only-use" product. Put
them on the shelf, and recycle them after a couple weeks.
Finally, I realize that bad leads do not all of the sudden
become good leads when they are 30+ days old. However, if you
bought them from a respectable company, it is worth your time
and effort to recycle them.... and if nothing else give the
recycled leads to your team members to use.
